Omniva's turnover for last year was 75.9 million euros

Last year, the business revenue of logistics company Omniva came up to 75.9 million euros, increasing by 27 per cent year-on-year.

“The turnover for international services increased the most. This was supported by the 11 per cent increase in parcels business in the Baltics,” explained Aavo Kärmas, Chairman of the Management Board of Omniva.

In logistics services, revenues for parcel services delivered via the parcel machines increased – a 61 per cent increase in the Baltic States.  “Expansions of the network to new regions throughout the Baltic States have certainly had an important part to play in this,” explained Kärmas.

According to Kärmas, the domestic letter service continues to be on a decline. Last year, the revenue of letter services decreased by 9 per cent, i.e. by close to a million euros, and the volumes decreased by 15.3 per cent. Nearly 86 per cent of letter services is made up of invoices sent by companies and institutions, which are moving to electronic channels at an increasing rate. This is also confirmed by the 33 per cent increase in the revenue of e-invoices intermediated by Omniva compared to 2014.
