Omniva Tests a New Flexible Delivery Option in Latvia

Omniva is testing a new delivery service in Latvia together with online retailers InternetAptieka.lv and Luta.lv. The pilot will give customers a new choice at checkout: pay less for delivery if they are able to collect their parcel sooner.

The new Omniva Flex option includes six hours of parcel locker storage at a considerably lower delivery price. The service will be offered alongside the existing Omniva Classic delivery option, which includes the standard four-day storage period.

Customers will be free to choose the option that suits them best. Those who know they can collect their parcel quickly can choose Flex and benefit from a lower delivery price. If more time is needed, customers who have chosen Flex can extend the parcel storage period.

During the test period, Omniva Flex delivery will be available from EUR 1.25. At InternetAptieka.lv, Flex delivery will be free for orders starting from EUR 16.99.

The experiment will help Omniva understand how customers respond to having more choice between delivery price and storage time and whether Omniva Flex should be developed further.

Omniva continues to test new ways of making parcel delivery more flexible and giving customers greater control over how, when and at what cost they receive their parcels.
