How to send a parcel

First, register the parcel in the online self-service environment for private customers. This is more convenient than providing all the details at the parcel machine.

HOW DO I REGISTER A PARCEL IN THE E-SERVICE?

  1. To register your parcel, log in to the self-service environment. You will not have to enter your registration information again, as it has been saved. The online self-service environment also saves all the destination addresses you have used previously, allowing you to regularly send parcels to the same people without any trouble.
  2. Print the address label and stick it to the outer packaging of the parcel. If you do not have a printer available, you can print the address label at the parcel machine.
  3. To send a parcel with an address label attached previously, take the parcel to the parcel machine and select ‘Send a parcel to a private person. Then select ‘Scan barcode’ and scan the barcode of the parcel. You can find the scanner on the centre console of the parcel machine.
  4. After opening the parcel machine locker door, place your parcel inside, close the door and confirm that you have added the parcel by pressing ‘Confirm’. If necessary, you can use a larger locker for an additional charge. After confirming you have put the parcel inside the locker, you will be offered an opportunity to print your receipt.

Remember, when you register the parcel in the online self-service environment you can choose additional services – the ‘FRAGILE’ service, and receiving a text message or e-mail when the parcel has been collected from the parcel machine. You cannot choose these additional services at the parcel machine.
  • What should I do if there is no option to print my address label in the online self-service environment?
If you are not given the option to print your address label online, select ‘Send parcel code as text message and print the address label at a parcel machine’. We will send you the parcel code as a text message. At the parcel machine, you will need to scan this code or enter it manually to print the address label. Before sticking it to the parcel, make sure all the information on the label is correct.

After scanning the barcode on the address card, a parcel machine locker door will open and you will be able to place the parcel inside. Confirm you have done this by pressing ‘Confirm’. If necessary, you can use a larger locker for an additional charge. After confirming you have put the parcel inside the locker, you will be offered to print the receipt. Remember, printing can take longer in cold weather
  • What should I do if I have already printed the address label?
After registering your parcel in the online self-service environment and printing out the address label, make sure the information on the label is legible and the barcode is not damaged. You can replace a damaged address label by printing a new one from the order confirmation document. As a registered user you can print new address labels by logging in to your online self-service environment account.
