Along with a remarkable rise in the demand for parcel-machine services, also the public importance of the services provided by Omniva increases, as well as the company’s impact on various conceptual sustainability aspects (environment, personnel, market relations, local communities, etc.).

WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT:
  • The service offered by Omniva Latvija is, on its merits, based on the idea of sustainability and challenges faced by the modern world.
  • In general, our services have a positive effect on the economics, environment and society as they promote rational and efficient consumption of resources.

AT THE SAME TIME, WE ARE AWARE THAT:
  • Even our services leave a footprint, which we are constantly seeking to reduce in a targeted manner.
  • We are affected by and we affect multiple stakeholders (customers, vendors, employees) and the economical processes in a broader context.

Omniva has in the past implemented a range of measures in stakeholder management and corporate responsibility; however, with the growing public importance of Omniva, the conceptualisation, structuring and defining of our corporate and social responsibility principles is a logical step forward.

Omniva’s contribution to sustainability has also been recognised by the Sustainability Index — the company received the 2021 Sustainability Champion Award and placed in the GOLD category.
