Omniva short-listed for the European Business Awards for Innovation
The international logistics company Omniva has entered the business contest European Business Awards (EBA) for innovation.
“I am gratified that the international judges have acknowledged the changes implemented by our company and have short-listed us by including Omniva among the finalists in the category "Most Innovative Company," said Mait Soosaru, Member of Omniva Board. “This shows that we have chosen the right way.”
Omniva deserves recognition of the judges in view of its ability to come up with new solutions leading to the development of several lines of activity on the post service market which were facing decreasing popularity, to attract new customers and to enter new markets, as well as to grow and develop as an organisation.
Initially, Omniva was a national-scale logistics company but now it is able to offer its customers various solutions in the area of logistics and infologistics services. In recent years the company has expanded its operations by establishing a parcel machine network and by offering e-invoice solutions in all of the Baltic states, thus becoming an international logistics company.
709 companies from 33 countries have entered the prestigious business contest European Business Awards, which is organised in Europe for the eighth year.
The companies which understand the importance of innovation in business development and strategic management will win the EBA for Innovation.
In the next stage the short-listed companies will make their video presentations to the panel of EBA judges.
The best companies will be given Ruban d’Honneur status and they will compete in the final, which will take place in 2015.
Adrian Tripp, founder and CEO of EBA, wished Omniva success in the next round. “The contest European Business Awards inspires companies on their way to success and enhances business competitiveness of all European countries," said Tripp.
